Do you enjoy early morning fishing, or scenic views of Chincoteague and Assateague Islands, or how about a scenic Sunset Cruise of the inlets and Chincoteague Bay?
Island Queen Inland Charters schedules fishing trips from 8:00 AM to Noon daily and nature and sunset cruises in the afternoon and evening.
Our nature and sunset cruises explore the channel of Chincoteague continuing to the southern end of the island then out by the Assateague National Seashore to the ocean where we often see dolphins, then to the lighthouse where the wild ponies roam offering plenty of photo opportunities. Our daily nature cruises are from 1:30 to 3:00 PM and 3:30 to 5:00 PM. Sunset cruises begin an hour and a half before sunset. Price per person for cruises $30.00, please call for reservations.
For bay fishing trips come aboard our 28 foot pontoon boat (w/bathroom) where we try to catch Summer Flounder, Trout, Croaker or Bluefish. Captain Charlie has more than 35 years experience on the waters around Chincoteague and knows the best fishing spots. Price per person for fishing is very affordable (click the link above for current rates) and includes all fishing rods, tackle, bait and license. Of course you can bring your own if you prefer.
