Pine Grove Campground is located on the northern side of Chincoteague Island, with 37 acres of overgrown woods filled with yellow pine trees this is truly a beautiful place to enjoy a family vacation. There are six ponds that serve as a sanctuary for over 50 different species of ducks, geese, swans, pheasants, and other wildlife. Our waterfowl park is located adjacent to the campground and is home to many species of waterfowl and domesticated animals.
There is a public boat ramp and crabbing dock within walking distance of the campground. You are only a few minutes away from town, doctors, shopping and the Assateague National Seashore and Wildlife Refuge that has miles of wild beach and nature trails, where Chincoteague Ponies roam free.
Pine Grove has trailer and tent sites
Our trailer sites offer electric, water and sewer hookups, picnic tables and fire rings. There are also centrally located Bath houses. Each tent site is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring .There are also sites available with electric hookups.
Large swimming pool
The Swimming pool is one of the largest on the Island and is free with your stay in the Campground, Motel, Rental Units, and the Waterfront cottages
Convenient camp store
Our camp store is located at the entrance to the campground and is in easy walking distance from all sites. In our store you will find everything you will need to make the most of your camping experience up to and including firewood and Ice.
